John Thompson got in contact with us with plans for a large extension to his domestic property. This would have proven to be quite an involved project, requiring many different aspects, such as a full-width ground floor extension, a half-width first floor extension, a conservatory conversion as well as the installation of several solar panels, so we were called on to help get approval for the work to go ahead.

Despite the scale of the proposal, we were happy to undertake this, coming up with ideas during an in-person meeting, then carrying out an on-site survey of the property to gain an accurate view of the space we had to work with. After this, we modelled the property up in CAD software in order to provide a clear 3D perspective of what they would be getting upon the project’s completion.

Following the finishing of that model, we created drawings describing the changes involved with the construction and liaised with both the local planning council and building control, making sure that the proposal was a safe and efficient addition to their home.
