Sue Philiips from Elmesthorpe, Leicestershire, approached us at The Design Social to acquire planning approval for a loft conversion in her property.
The property consisted of a 1920’s, semi-detached house that had been heavily changed and extended by previous owners. Sue wanted a conversion that would include a bathroom and a bedroom.
We took this idea and created the required drawings and documentation needed for the project, which we submitted for a planning and building regs application to the Blaby City council who approved it, allowing work to commence.
Afterwards, Sue had this to say about our work:
“I would recommend to anyone The Design Social for any planning application. The service I received was second to none, Sophie who came to the house was efficient, professional & advised me the best way to go forward with my extension which turns out to have saved me a lot of money.
The plans were drawn up quickly & Sophie dealt with everything including the council, the decision was made quickly & I think without the support & expertise from the Design Social it would have taken longer.
All in all I am impressed with the service I received from them & I would recommend the Design Social to anyone without hesitation.’
