Julie Mitchell wanted to combine her kitchen and dining area into one larger space but due to the layout of her house, it required structural calculations to prepare for the process.

To carry this project out, she approached us here at The Design Social, requesting us to help organise and calculate the structural steelwork that was necessary to comply with building regulations. We happily undertook this project, surveying the layout of the properties internal walls, liaising with capable builders, carrying out structural calculations and then proposing numerous different layout options so that Julie was acutely aware of the pricing of her project.
