Artem Dvoriankin was looking to start a project to gain a little more space on his property, in the form of a small, separate building in their rear garden. To seek proper approval for this space, they approached us here at The Design Social in order to get both planning and building regulations applications fully completed for the construction of the works.

We were happy to undertake this project and started work swiftly. First, we carried out an on-site survey, measuring up the available land that the new build could sit on as well as the external dimensions of the house. We then used that information to design the proposed building, taking the view of the neighbouring properties into account as well as what would work internally for the space. Finally, we created drawings based on that design and liaised with the local council and planning authority, getting approval for the job to be done.
