Leicester & Leicestershire
We design and build websites for businesses and organisations in Leicester and across Leicestershire, from first websites for new companies to redesigns of sites that no longer do the job. Working from our studio in Barwell, near Hinckley, we can also host the site and look after it once it’s live.
Websites for Leicestershire Businesses
Most of our local website work falls into one of three types.
New businesses
A first website that explains what the business does and can grow as the work builds up.
Website redesigns
For sites that look dated, are hard to update or no longer reflect what the business offers.
Clubs and organisations
Websites that help clubs and organisations share information about their activities and facilities with members and visitors.
In each case, we look at who the site is for and what they need to find, then plan the pages and features around that. Where it helps, the site can include a blog, news section or portfolio that you update yourself, so it doesn’t go stale after launch.
Website Design Projects in Leicester and the Surrounding Area

Leicester
Start-up website for Noble Day Associates
When Dominic Sore launched Noble Day Associates, he needed a website to showcase the museums and visitor centres he has worked on. We designed and hosted the new site, with options for Dominic and his staff to add portfolio work, project updates and news themselves.

Loughborough
Website redesign for Leicestershire Luthiers
Danny and Nat asked us to redesign and overhaul the website for their guitar repair and upgrade business, and to host it. The new site includes a blog they can update themselves, so their latest work keeps the site current.

Near Loughborough
Club website for Loughborough Boat Club
The rowing club, on the River Soar at Zouch, wanted a website to show its activities and club facilities. We delivered the web design and hosting, built on a content management system.
How a Website Project Runs
Every website is different, but most projects follow the same four stages.
01
Brief
We start with the business: what it does, who the site is for and what visitors need to do when they arrive.
02
Structure
We plan the pages and any features, such as a blog, news section or portfolio, and agree the content each page needs.
03
Design and build
The design is developed around your identity and built to work on desktops, tablets and phones.
04
Launch
Once you’re happy, the site goes live on our hosting, with your domain and email set up if needed.
Hosting and Support After Launch
Each of the projects above included hosting when the site was launched. Today, we can also look after a website once it’s live, so it stays secure, up to date and easy to find in search.
Having the same studio design and host a site means there’s one place to go when something needs changing. Our website design services page covers the full range, for clients across the UK.

FAQs about Website Design in Leicester
Yes, if you want to. Sites can be built on a content management system, so you can add news, blog posts or portfolio work without coming back to us. The Noble Day Associates and Leicestershire Luthiers sites were both set up so they could add their own content this way.
Yes. We designed and hosted the website for Loughborough Boat Club, and the same approach works for other clubs and organisations that need to show their activities and facilities.
It depends on the number of pages, the features the site needs, such as a blog or portfolio, and whether you need a logo or branding as well. We’ll give you a quote once we understand what the site has to do.
Yes. Website design can run alongside logo and brand identity work, so the site and your other material share the same look. The AD Structures website, for example, was developed alongside its new logo and visual identity.
