When Hannah Webbe approached us with their project, we knew immediately it was an important job that would need fixing as soon as possible. They had recently purchased an older property that had previously had an extension added onto the side elevation, however the new section was not fully supported with steelwork and the ceiling was starting to sag as a result of this work. If left unattended, this could have caused damage to the existing building at best or been a serious risk to their health at worst.

As such, we were happy to help out with the necessary work, first carrying out a survey on the existing property, then creating a 3D model of the house in CAD software, along with the changes that would be needed to reinforce the structure.

After the model was finished and we confirmed that they were happy with the changes we’d suggested, we liaised with the local building control agency and got permission for the work to go ahead.
