Liz Burman has worked with us in the past, and as such approached us with a new project relating to her dog day care business.
She owns a field used for training and exercise of the dogs they look after, and so wanted planning approval for an insulated timber cabin, usable for housing and training the dogs during less optimal weather conditions.
Due to the business and field being based in a beautiful rural area, the planning policies were quite restrictive, so we had to design the cabin to have the appearance of an agricultural building, but also have minimal visual impact for the surrounding landscape.
The Design Social was able to draw up a design that fit the bill and satisfied the planning council so that approval was given. The project is now currently out for quoting.
