Ann Moran was looking for aid with a particularly difficult project. She lived in a 300 year old cottage that had been locally listed by the Dudley Authority, but was wanting to make some minor changes to help improve the existing layout and lighting. This would require not just producing drawings to show the needed work, but also liaising with the local authority to ensure that the existing site wouldn’t be damaged or changed too drastically. As such, she made contact with us to help her through this process.

We were more than happy to take on this work, surveying the historic building to determine what changes would be reasonable, then creating a design that would help bring the layout up to the modern day, without disrespecting the original intent of the site. After this, we communicated with the local authorities, keeping Ann in the loop as we discussed with local planners and authorities to assure them we were providing good design. Due to this process, we were able to secure full approval for the project to go ahead, with the next steps now underway.
